9 Aug 2021: Petition to UK Parliament reaches 10,000!

Specimen letter uploaded 10 Dec 2021 - thanks to prompting from Artless!

This petition was based on 2.5 study and analysis of MOJ & HMPPS Sexual Offender statistics from 2001-2020. Most people, including MPs are surprised at the evidence that 99% of all sexual offenders are MALE. Who knew eh?

i) Only 3.9% of prison population of England & Wales) is female [MOJ 29 Jan 2021]

ii) More than 99% of all sexual offenders are MALE...and have been at all data collection points for two decades 2001-2020.

Enormous thanks 30 July 2021 Transgender Sexual Offending: Context is ALL | Women Are Human for publication of the base level statistics.

Also thanks to Artless for her template letter filled with excellent examples of legislation.

9 Aug 2021: Email to Guardian guardian.readers@theguardian.com

Direct complaint to the news source is even more effective than a tweet!

  1. Criminal records are not attached to NHS medical records: HOW do NHS staff know about "individual offending histories" - even if GPs know, why would a sexual offender tell his GP - the GP is taking care of the medical needs of the patient in front of them, by what mechanism would they communicate this information to the hospital?
